Finish Options

When to Use

How to Use

  1. Ensure the surface is completely dry and free from dust or grease.
  2. Work in a well-ventilated area, as the varnish has a solvent odor.
  3. Stir gently before use—do not shake.
  4. Apply a thin, even coat using a soft brush or sponge, following the direction of the surface texture.
  5. Allow the first coat to dry completely. Drying time may vary depending on environmental conditions.
  6. For added durability, apply a second coat after the first has dried.

Pro Tips

  • If applying over the Fineline Crackle, you need to wait a minium of 24 hours for the Fineline Crackle to cure. 
  • Avoid overworking—apply varnish in smooth, continuous strokes to prevent visible brush marks.
  • Can be used to seal IOD paint inlays.
  • Use on clear resin to maintain clarity and prevent cloudiness.
  • Clean brushes with solvent, turpentine, or Pentart Solvent.
  • Always apply in a well-ventilated area.
  • Avoid moisture or contamination during application for best results.
